Who we are

Julie Breukel Michel is mother of six children. A working experience in the palliative field made her give up her artistic career in order to follow different training programs of natural medicine. Over a decade and while exercising her therapeutic activities, she has developed floral and alchemical elixirs and has taught Lu Jong.

Hervé Michel Breukel has been trained in the hotel management and has worked for ten years in the luxury hotel-trade. Travelling around the world brought about a transformation of his personal convictions and the discovery of hand-healing. At this point he left his career to develop his abilities with Tibetan naturopathy, Tibetan healing techniques by hand and by Tibetan therapeutic massage.

The Place

The Lungta is located at Mergoscia, a little Ticino village near Locarno situated at an altitude of 750 metres. It is a beautiful and very sunny village at the entrance to the Verzasca valley. It is a place with wild charm and a beautiful energy in the heart of nature.

The Centre

Located at the high end of the village, the centre is small, friendly and simple. From this point you can enjoy an exceptional view of Lake Maggiore and the surrounding mountains. The old stone houses form a protected unit with an internal courtyard and terraces. An environment which is perfect to relax and make knew acquaintances, as well as being an ideal starting point of various walking paths.

With Public Transport :
The nearest train station is in Locarno (about 12 km from Lungta Centre). To reach Mergoscia from Locarno train station, take bus no 312 until terminus. Then, follow signs.

Bus’s rate : Locarno station-“Mergoscia Posta”  CHF 7.- one way,  (AG and ½ fare CFF valid). You can also buy a 6 ways ticket for about Fr 30.-  If you travel with a group, it makes the trip much cheaper for all.

With Taxi : An eco-friendly taxi company, cheaper than normal taxi, but need pre-booking. Eco taxi : 0800 321 321
Rate : CHF 55.-  Locarno/Mergoscia (from 11pm to 6am : CHF 62.-)Normal taxi are available at station or anywhere in town

By Plane : MILANO MALPENSA is the nearest airport. The easiest and fastest way is then to take the shuttle to Lugano ; http://www.starstation.ch/pagina_orari.php  . You need to pre-book your seat :  +41 91 260 04 19 . From Lugano, you can keep going by train (in front of shuttle station).

By Car :

• From Bellinzona, drive till Tenero, and then turn right and follow Contra/Mergoscia. Keep going until Mergoscia, and then follow the Centre’s signs.
• From Domodossola, cross Centovalli until Locarno Then follow Orselina and/or Brione sopra Minusio, then Contra and Mergoscia. Then follow the Centre’s signs.
• From Milano, follow Chiasso, Lugano and then Locarno. Before Locarno, exit at Tenero, go to Tenero. At second roundabout, go strait to Contra/Mergoscia. Then follow the Centre’s signs.

After following our signs, you will arrive to a public parking, keep going until our private parking place on the right.
